Are you Family Owned and Operated?
Yes. Cosselmon Mechanical is family owned and operated. You will see our family name on the business and out in the field. We take that seriously, because our reputation and our relationships in this community matter to us.
Are you a faith-based company?
Yes. Our faith is part of why we do business the way we do. We believe God placed us here for a reason, and we try to reflect that in the way we treat your home, your time, and your family—with honesty, care, and respect. We do not push our beliefs on anyone, but they do guide how we work.
Do you offer senior or military discounts?
We do. We offer discounts for seniors and for active or retired military as a way of saying thank you. When you schedule, let us know if this applies to you so we can make sure it is added to your invoice.
How do you price your jobs?
We believe in fair, honest pricing. For most jobs, we will:
-
Come out and look at the issue
-
Explain what we find
-
Give you options when possible
-
Provide clear pricing before we do the work
We do not like surprises on our end, and we know you do not either. Occasionally, changes need to happen in order to make your repair or installation operate properly. If something changes once we get into the work, we will talk with you before moving forward.
Do you offer free estimates?
For many larger projects (such as system replacements or big plumbing jobs), we are able to provide estimates after an on-site visit. In some cases, there may be a diagnostic fee to properly inspect equipment or systems. We will let you know upfront what to expect before we schedule.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
We understand plumbing, heating, and air problems do not always happen at a convenient time. Availability can vary depending on our schedule and staffing, but we do our best to respond quickly to urgent issues. Call us, and we will let you know what we are able to do in the moment and how fast we can get to you.
What should I expect when your technicians come to my home?
You can expect:
-
A call or text when we are on the way
-
A technician who introduces themselves at the door
-
Respect for your home—shoes covered when needed or requested, work areas kept as clean as possible
-
A clear explanation of the problem and the options
-
Work done as if it were our own home
We try to leave your home as clean, or cleaner, than we found it.
How often should I have my heating and air systems serviced?
Most systems should be checked at least once a year, and ideally twice:
-
Once before cooling season (spring)
-
Once before heating season (fall)
Regular maintenance helps catch small issues before they turn into breakdowns and can extend the life of your equipment.
Do you stand behind your work?
Yes. We take pride in the quality of our work and the integrity behind it. We stand behind our workmanship and follow manufacturer guidelines on equipment warranties. If something does not seem right after a job, contact us so we can review it and make it right if it falls under our responsibility.
Do you work with homeowners on budgets or financing?
We understand not every repair or replacement comes at a convenient time. Depending on the size of the job, we can walk through options and help you prioritize what must be done now and what might be able to wait. If financing options are available at the time, we will explain those clearly. Our goal is to help you make a decision that is wise for your home and your budget.
How soon can you schedule my job?
Scheduling depends on the season and current workload. During extreme heat or cold, we book up faster. Call, text, or email us, and we will:
-
Look at our schedule
-
Let you know the first available openings
-
Try to prioritize true no-heat or no-cool situations and major plumbing issues
We always aim to be on time to every call we commit to.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule by:
-
Calling our office
-
Emailing us
-
Using the contact us email on our website
If you leave a message, we will return your call as soon as we are able, usually during normal business hours.
